DETROIT — The Society of the Plastics Industry Inc. has granted exclusive rights to Plastics News to publish its show daily newspapers at SPI's triennial trade show, NPE.
The show daily newspapers will be distributed at NPE 2015, set for March 23-27, 2015, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
"We are thrilled to provide wall-to-wall coverage of NPE," said Brennan Lafferty, publisher of Plastics News. "Our editorial team loves producing daily newspapers. It allows us to fan out with our dozen reporters and cover every nook and cranny of NPE — from the show floor, to conference presentations, to the back hallways — our staff will be there meeting with executives and newsmakers to provide the information our industry needs and relies upon us to deliver.
"The show dailies also have always proven to be excellent vehicles for plastics marketers to spread their advertising message and not just show up, but show off at NPE," Lafferty said.
Plastics News has published show daily newspapers at NPE since 1991. In addition, the American Society of Business Publication Editors has repeatedly recognized Plastics News with national honors for its show daily newspapers, most recently in 2013.

NPE gathers about 60,000 attendees every three years. Nearly 2,000 exhibitors will occupy 1 million square feet of exhibit space. NPE attendees will see the latest technology from machinery manufacturers and resin suppliers. In addition, attendees have the opportunity to attend co-located conference programs, including ANTEC@NPE2015 and the first NPE3D Printing Premier.
