KraussMaffei Berstorff GmbH hosted about 60 people from plastics recycling centers at the Edelweiss Days at the extrusion systems maker’s plant in Hannover, Germany, June 24-26. They saw a demonstration of how high and low density polyethylene film scrap where different degrees of contamination are converted into quality compounds, using an Artec recycling module 500, an Ettlinger ERF 250 melt filter, Krauss-Maffei Berstorff ZE 60 UTXi twin-screw extruder and Gala EAC 6 underwater pelletizer. | |
