WOODHAVEN, N.Y. — Comco Plastics Inc. has spun off from Nytef Group as an independent business and is making plans to expand capacity and services.
Comco of Woodhaven fabricates, mills, shapes and assembles custom plastic components. The company lists itself as one of the largest fabricators of polyetheretherketone materials in North America and aims to move further into production for the medical industry. Comco also does injection molding.
Nytef of West Palm Beach, Fla., still has two separate business units — Nytef Plastics Ltd., a maker of engineered plastic stock products with six facilities, and Transparent Protection Systems Inc., also of West Palm Beach, which makes hurricane panels. | |
